AGES: Adults SPECIALTIES: Families, couples, ADHD, autism, trauma

I believe that the people who come to therapy are often some of the most self-aware, high-functioning people around and still quietly carrying more than anyone knows.

I'm Lorrie, and I work with adults and older teens navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and questions of identity and self-worth. A lot of the people I connect with are also beginning to understand how early relationships and attachment experiences have quietly shaped the way they feel about themselves, trust others, and move through the world.

This includes many people who are also living with ADHD or are on the autism spectrum -- individuals who have often spent years masking, adapting, or being misunderstood, and who are ready to explore what it means to feel at home in themselves.

I'm especially drawn to this work because these patterns often go unnamed for years -- even decades -- and yet they touch everything: how safe you feel in relationships, how you talk to yourself, how much space you allow yourself to take up.

My approach is warm, curious, and unhurried. I work primarily from a person-centered foundation, which means the relationship between us is at the center of everything. I also draw on cognitive behavioral tools when they're useful for building practical skills and navigating day-to-day challenges.

I'm currently completing my graduate training in clinical mental health counseling and will begin my supervised practicum in June. I come to this work with over two decades of experience holding space for people in high-stakes moments -- listening, building trust, and helping others feel genuinely seen.

Starting therapy doesn't require having it all figured out. I'm here to walk alongside you, at whatever pace feels right.
