Hannah’s approach to counseling is that it is crucial to build trust with her clients to aid them in achieving their specific goals. As such, Hannah works closely with her clients to build a strong understanding of their needs, culture, and story. She strives to empower her clients by providing a safe, supportive atmosphere to assist clients to achieve their desired change. She utilizes person-centered therapy and respects clients' right to self-determination. She believes that there is no day like the present. She uses several different modalities to adjust to her client’s needs including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, Strengths-Based approach, and Mindfulness.

Hannah has experience working with a wide variety of people between the ages of 18 and up to address a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma-related issues, and mood disorders. She also has experience working with individuals with grief. The exposure she has gained in her past experiences working as a community mental health case manager, medical social worker at multiple hospitals, social work intern in hospice, and a direct service provider at a crisis stabilization unit allows her to understand her client’s needs in a holistic way.

Hannah is a Licensed Master Social Worker through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health. She received her Master of Social Work degree from Capella University. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Concord University. The following quote resonates with Hannah and her approach to therapy. “Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. And today? Today is a gift. That's why they call it the present.” - Eleanor Roosevelt
